SPEND
1/2 OF THE DAY AT CAMP...
...AND
1/2 OF THE DAY IN THE WATER!
Who
is your Surfing
Instructor?
Jeremy Grosnevor is more fish than human surfs the waters of Hawaii,
Costa Rica as well as locally. He has taught in the Hamptons for
the last 12 years and has been with us for 3 years. He puts safety
first and has the expertise mixed with the patience to be an excellent
instructor. Trained in CPR, First Aid, WSI and is an ocean lifeguard.
Our Boat is a Mastercraft X-10 2005
Our Jetski is a Kawasaki 2005
Our ratio on the beach surfing: 12:4
Our ratio on the boat: 6:2
Safety is our number one priority.
While on the boat, each group of 10 participants will be supervised
by the instructor and 3 assistants. No more than 6 children at a
time will be on the boat with the instructor and one assistant,
while the remaining children will take turns on the jetski with
an adult driver and beach assistant. When at the ocean, groups of
10 children will be supervised by the instructor who is certified
as an ocean lifeguard, water safety instructor (WSI), and in first
aid and CPR. All water safety gear, including USCG life jackets,
is required to be worn at all appropriate times. Respect for the
water is mandatory and we insist that the rules set in place by
the instructors be followed without exception. In order to ensure
the safety and enjoyment of everyone involved we will ask any participants
to leave if rules cannot be followed.
Wakeboarding,
Wakesurfing - it’s like snowboarding on water.
Get behind one of our Mastercraft Wakeboard boats and carve or jump
the wake. It’s the most exciting thing to do behind a boat.
Or let yourself be pulled onto a modified surfboard and surf the
massive wake as long as your legs will go. Look, Ma, no rope, no
bindings! You’ve gotta do it to believe it.
Waterskiing
- no secrets here. Get in the water, get on the skis and rip.
Nothing goes faster behind a boat. Drop a ski, go mono and carve
through the wake. Our boats allow us to adjust the wake size.
Tubing
- Get in and try to hold on! We’ll run one or two tubes
behind the boat. The twin tubes can do some friendly battling. We
also tube behind our brand new high-powered jetski.
Surfing,
Bodyboarding - Go catch some waves on our user friendly
boards (they’re still cutting edge shapes, don’t worry).
We pick the safest beaches and let the waves get only as big as
you want them to be. You’ll be surprised how perfect the Hamptons
are for this timeless classic.
Windsurfing
- Get on a board, hold a sail into the wind and go cruising,
sounds easier than it is. But new, advanced gear and our famous
TLC will get anyone going. Our wind location, Napeague Harbor in
Amagansett, is one of the best and safest places to learn.
Kiteboarding
- it’s the "It" sport. A big kite, a small
board, and somewhere in between a rider. Kiting is one of the most
exciting watersports anyone has ever dreamt up. And it is much easier
than you think. Patient, professional instructors armed with the
latest gear and jetskis to fish stragglers out of trouble make an
already steep learning curve even steeper.
